SeAT - thread: Migrating from SeAT v4 to v5 on a different droplet while keeping ESI tokens - Page 1

Hello, I’m currently still running SeAT version 4, and I’d like to take the opportunity to upgrade to version 5 by setting it up on a completely new machine (a different droplet on DigitalOcean). Is it possible to install a clean SeAT v5 instance on this new droplet and import all existing accounts and ESI tokens from my corpmates without having to ask everyone to re-enter the ESI for their characters? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yes it is possible. But you can’t set up a new seat 5 and then migrate the seat 4 data. Either you have to first upgrade to seat 5 and then migrate machine, or migrate seat to the new machine and then upgrade.
